Résumé : Bill Powell

Bill Powell is Wineskin Media.

You know what you want to say. Let's say it. I will write, edit, proofread, lay out, typeset, illustrate, design a web site—whatever it takes.

Software

I bring you solutions from the world of free software. Why pay thousands each year in licensing fees? The free software community provides tools that are just as professional, and more customizable to your needs. I offer up to several years experience with:

  • Web development: HTML, PHP, MySQL, Javascript
  • Shopping cart: ZenCart, osCommerce
  • Content management: Joomla!, DokuWiki, WordPress
  • Mailing lists: DadaMail, GNU Mailman
  • Scripting: Perl, Python, Bash
  • Typesetting: LaTeX typesetting language, Scribus DTP
  • Graphic design: Gimp, Inkscape
  • Editing, Office Suite: Vim, Emacs, Openoffice.org, Firefox, Thunderbird

I can interface these free tools with almost any proprietary program you may already use (e.g., Microsoft Word). And if you don't see what you need on this list, I can probably find a free program that will do what you need, and make it work with your other tools.
